Comparison KUBOTA M7060 or CASE IH 75a (NH Workmaster 75)

Went through the same thing a couple of years ago and ended up with a Kioti 7320 (I know it is not on your list). I liked the Kubota but could not get one delivered before the end of the year (tax reasons) but am very happy with the Kioti. Pulls a 10 foot 3 point mower, 12' disc and roller, seeder, and does a lot of loader work. So far no problems and I am a little rough on equipment. The Kiotis run a little over 40K for a cab model from an aggressive dealer.

You could get a L6060 for the same money, and it would pull the same batwing, plus be a touch more maneuverable. 18 acres isn't a lot to mow, I could likely do it in day pulling a 6ft hog with my L3560. Once the initial cut is done, routine maintenance would certainly take me less than a day.

The grand L cab is more refined than the Mxx60 cab, it has more vents, and they're in the headliner.

I know what he says, but he may end up doing more than mowing with the tractor.
I told myself a 50 hp would do everything I needed to do on the cleared part of my 40 acres.
I ended up needing to do other things and the 50 was then too small and light for the task.

If it were me, I would look for a used pre emissions tractor. That's what I did. Got more tractor for less $$ and less headaches having no emissions

Neither of us are Charles Xavier, and we kind of have to work with what he said he needed to do. The L6060 will do a lot more than just mow as well. Sure, it wouldn't be my first choice for tillage or other heavy draft tasks, but it would handle some. More than that, it's a nicer place to be then the Mxx60s. Which was my point. He would be trading some capability for ergonomics.

I'm a softy. I could have bought an open station MX or maybe even a M5660 for what I paid for my L3560. But I got heat, air, a good seat, arm rests etc.

Dad has a Kubota we purchased for his 100 acres. M7060cab. He loves it. Mowing, some hay transport, FEL work here and there. It is about a year old now, no issues. Great dealer/parts support, great machine. That couple with my M62 (at about 100 hours now) experience I would recommend it.

I have the best of both worlds. I use the MX5100 when the weather is nice. When it gets too cold,or too hot, I use the CX105 Cabbed tractor
