Kubota M7060 trailer plug wiring question

After several months of ownership, I have finally gotten around to making an adapter to hook up my dump trailer with 7-pin RV connector to the 7-pin connector that came with tractor. Much to my disappointment the 7th pin, 12v charging circuit, was not active.

Has anyone figured out how to supply power to the 7th pin? All 7 wires are hooked into the harness, but I am not sure if there is just a fuse missing or if I need to run a separate wire from somewhere.

On a lot of trucks you need to put a fuse in that's not there by default to light up that circuit. Might be the same on Kubotas.

I did the same thing (hopefully) for trailer lighting and possibly elec. brakes. Just NEVER remember to ask when I'm near or at the dealership.:confused3:

Good suggestion on the fuse panel, no luck though. It's a pretty simple panel and they are all full. There is also supposed to be an extra accessory outlet near the panel, but it is already in use.

I took a closer look at the 7-pin plug that came with it. The plug that attaches to the tractors wiring harness has all 7 wires, but the tractor end only has 5. I might get a chance to stop in the dealer tomorrow and ask them. I'll post back here when I figure it out.

One fact you will find out is that you will have no brake lights.
Tractors sold in North American are not required to have brake lights. More confusing is that the WSM's wiring diagram show brake lights.
I told one owner of a Kubota M7040 that there would be a hot brake light terminal in the 7 pin connector because I was looking at the shop manual wiring diagram.
Then I went out in the dark with my test light and had to go back and correct my advice.
Check around the brake pedal, there is not even a switch.

Need another fused circuit: if moderate power circuit go with "Add a Circuit."
It plugs into an existing fuse location and provides a second circuit completely independent of the original circuit.

The new circuit does not impose any electrical load on the original circuit. Quite clever!

Did you ever figure this out with the dealer?

I have had a V22500 on order for over a year and am looking to make up one, have already found a trailer 7 pin jack and the 8 pin connector but need to figure out the wiring diagram for the 7 pin connector that comes on the trailer wiring harness and where the seven wires connect in the 8 pin connector.
