Been reading the ontrack posts and mostly disagree with them. I looked at Kubota and Mahindra and having had a JD garden tractor I dismissed JD, plastic underengineered light weight in the subcompacts. The Kubota in the 20 hp range does not have a cat 1 3 point hitch vs Mahindra Which does. The Kubota had way to much plastic to crack at 7,000’. The dealer was, well really didn’t exist. The hydraulics are minuscule. They cant even lift the front wheels with the FEL or lift the FEL both at idle.
The eMax22 was significantly heavier with large cast axles, stronger and thicker chassis with much better lifting capability. There really is no comparison. Mahindra dealer did some warranty work recently, leaking rear axle seal, $150 pick up and delivery charge, he’s only 45 miles away but thats 7,000’ down and about a 90 minute one way drive, a bargain, pickup and returned in 3 days. Offered to buy at my purchase price - 4.5 years old 600 hrs.
Mostly use it for snow and landscape work. Added a 2,000# linear actuator for rear blade, rear camera, rear and top led lamps. Chain all 4. I’ve pulled a Ford 1 ton dully high centered, all wheels off the ground on a large icy berm with ease, didn’t spin a wheel. 900# lift with fell 1100# 3 point hitch.
