Hi.
My friend loaned me his tractor on a semi-permanent basis. It is an old model, a B7100HST. The tractor has a rear-mower deck attachment RCR48.
A few months ago, the U-Joint on the PTO axle cracked, and I took it in for service to a Kubota dealer in Hemet.
While in for service, they installed a new PTO axle and new blades also.
Three months later, I am attempting to use the mower deck, and it seems that the PTO axle will only move in one direction. I am unsure if the dealer's service department did anything with the transmition on the mower deck. Would this be a reason that the mower blade only revolve in one direction? Whenever I attempt to enable the PTO in either low of high gear, it siezes up, and also forces the tractor's engine to stop.
I am wondering if someone can answer my question regarding the above. I am also looking for manual's for the tractor and the mower deck so that I can better maintain the tractor.
When I was at the dealer, they were not even able to pull the RCR48 up on their computer.
Thanks in advance,
Dave
