kubota rebate coupon

has any one taken advantage of the rebate coupon sent out by kubota? its 500 on a tractor and 25.oo on parts over 100.00. i bought 5 gals of super udt 2 fuel filters and the airfilter for the bx 23 all for 82.45 not a bad deal...

I used the $25.00 one.

My tractor has just over 100 hours on it so I am not buying another one yet.

Are these things transferrable?

Is it given to current owners?

I'm close to purchasing an L3400 and would like to save all the $$$ I can.

According to our Kubota rep they are not transferable. For the dealer to get the credit from kubota they have to fax the invoice in with the coupon to Kubota. The names and address must match for the credit to be given. They are mailing these to current owners of older tractors.

Kubota mailed these out in the middle of October. I don't know what criteria they used to do the mail outs with. One of our larger fleet customers did not get one either so it must be targeted toward people who purchased years ago.

As I recall, the coupons expired 11/30/05. Used mine a week ago to buy enough SUDT, engine oil and filters to do the 50 hr. on my year old L4300. Nice savings. The counter guys were surprised by it. First one they'd seen I guess.

Was playing with the idea of using the $500 instant rebate on an M-series as I would like to have a strong Ag tractor for haying; but I'm getting by with what I have. Kubota has some decent 'end of product run' discounts going on the M5700 and the M6800; probably the smaller M series as well. M6800DT looked awfully good to me.

I used mine...I just bought a BX2230 w/FEL. Interestingly enough I had thrown the coupon away! Imagine my $500 sinking feeling when the dealer asked if I had received one! But thankfully he was able to make a phone call and all of the recepiants are on a list. I got the rebate. I was told that they were mailed out "randomly" to existing Bota owners...
