Hello, my kubota does not have heat? None at all? The fan blows but nothing, the ac works but no hot air. Everything else works as it should. The water thermostat is showing all is ok.

What should i check?

Is there a valve that lets the warm water flow into a heater core?
Something must control it?

Thanks for your help

Welcome to TBN:welcome:

First..Did you check the coolant level? The temp guage isn't the be-all and end-all.

Second, the thermostat may be stuck open. You can usually tell this if one or both rad hoses are cold when the machine is warm. Check the heater core lines too. be careful, these can get very hot.

Also, it's possible that the temp contoller on the dash is bad although unlikely. Assuming that you have the knob turned to full hot.

Run it for 15 minutes or so and let us know what you find based on the first 2.

EDIT: I just went out and looked at mine. The heater hoses are under the hood and you can easily check for temp of the hoses there.

It appears by the feel of the knob that the temp control is cable/rod driven, not sure. But does that control feel loose, as in the connector fell off?

Sorry for the simplistic suggestions, but you didn't indicate your level of mechanical knowledge, so we have to start somewhere....Let us know what you see.

Coolant was ok, i let it run for about 30 minutes one of the two heater hoses got warm. I took the radio filler out and followed the wires by hand and wiggled them at the temp control and the heat came and went, wiggled and pushed in and it appears its going to stay working now....must have been a loose wire or the connector wasnt pushes in all the way.

Thanks for getting me started
