Kubota RTV 900 won't go into gear

We have a Kubota RTV 900 and it has been working so-so. It would have trouble starting, finding neutral was somewhat difficult. eventually after going into H M and L it would finally start.

I made sure that the linkage was good and working properly. I opened up the back and realized that something did not seem right. Any tips on what might be happening would be greatly appreciated.

we had one do something similar.it was like the linkage was froze up.dealer fixed it,he said something inside wears out and to fix it a washer had to be welded on something.works like new now

Might clean it up good and pull the shifter plate off and resetting the forks, had the one on my RTV-1100 pop out of the grooves from someone forcing the shifter without releasing the pressure on the gears.

right on thanks. i saw the guy on youtube did his but the video is awefully shaky. I am going to try and do this myself.

It sure wont hurt that engine a bit to use a high pressure hose and some soap and water to wash off the dirt and grease. I hose the dirt off mine frequently. Removing the gunk keeps everything running cooler also. Cant help you with the shift problem.

Small bar fell into transmission... been digging in there with a magnet. Can't get it. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thank you

Going to try and drain tranny fluid see if I can get it out through the train plug **** this blows

got the shaft out but it seems to be sheered off. looking for a parts diagram online but cant seem to find it.
