I am just about to pull the trigger on a Kubota RTV. Does anyone know or has anyone run a splitter off of the bed dump pump. They have the connections to run "implements" but a splitter is not listed as one of the options. With a little rigging I am sure it could be done, but will the pump output be adequate? That little diesel engine would sure make a splitter go with the proper set up.

Thanks.

There is no doubt in my mind that it will run a splitter however, the cycle times will be slow, the duty cycle will be low and the power is questionable.

They have a model that is setup for continous duty applications that includes a return filter, oil cooler, and second set of auxillarys for work tools. This setup would be much better suited to splitting IMO.

The output is right about 6 gpm at 2200lbs if I recall, its about standard for rear remotes on a small tractor. As was said, its not made for continuous duty. If you want to run the remotes non-stop you need to add the hydraulic cooler kit. Till you go though that expense and buy a splitter you'll spend the same $$ as buying a self contained unit.
