The question was brought up this morning by a friend that is going to purchase his new RTV Monday. For I have climbed very few hills, with no problems. For where I work & hunt, is pretty-well flat ground, And have read several threads on the so called right way to use the "magic transmission" on the unit. What I did on my few trips to Mississippi, checking out some property, I don't remember what I did. . Now, his question was, for which I really don't have the answer, Do you push it to the floor and get the rpm's up and then back off half way, or do you just go half way down with the pedal to climb. So what is the RIGHT way to do it , Recon the question is for both of us, he will be using his for hunting the hills of Mississippi mostly .....All replys will be appreciated !!!!

THANKS ~~~~~

Give them both a try...I think both methods will do the trick. Most folks probably do it the full throttle & back off way.

Good info on how the transmission works:
