M7060 Kubota & RTV-X900
I just bought a new Kubota RTV-X900 a week ago and parked it in the garage. Its been rainy and cold I only drove it to the end of the drive way once. I was looking at the other night and noticed it had a dent in the bottom of the bed about the size of a golf ball and 1/2" deep. You can tell they done the factory spray in liner after the dent. What should I ask Kubota to do about this?

To the forum from Northwest Alabama. Of course they were hoping that you wouldn't notice until you thought you dinged it.

First, welcome. It's good to have another member from the Upstate. Also, congratulations on your new RTV. I have had mine since 2009 and consider its purchase as money well spent.

Talk to the folks at the dealership. It sounds to me like the dent is just cosmetic, but you could ask for a new bed if it bothers you.

I used my RTV as a work vehicle from the "get go," but it did hurt when it got its first cosmetic blemish. However, I recovered and no longer worry about it.:)

Thank you, The dent is cosmetic, but you hate to buy a new machine and it have a dent in it. If I get a new bed they may skin the new one up or damage other stuff in shipping or installing it. just getting opinions from others.

You would like to put the first dent in it yourself. But it won't affect the use. How bout you show pics to your dealer and rather than getting a new bed, maybe he can give you some filters or fluid or something.

Seeing how if you use the RTV, you will pick up your share of dents- I like GP's advice- try to get some "goodies" from the dealer.
The dealer screwed up some of the paperwork on mine. I got a couple of hats and charger cables for my Honda generator as compensation.

Even some filters, hydro oil, or something like that would be good. I had a rtv 900 and traded it in on my tractor and now that the "dust" has settled I wish I had it back, tuff work unit they are. Enjoy it!

The filters for these things are outrageous. I own two RTV-X900's and it is not cheap to maintain them. If you plan on using it for work the dent will have many friends in no time. As stated I would talk to the dealer and get something in exchange. Maybe get your first service (oil , hyd, suction filter) done by them for free?
