Snowblower Kubota TG2746A impeller speed

Hello every one, I am Ivan.
I have a 1999 Toro Zmaster Z147 commercial ZTR mower that I have upgraded the deck from 44" stamped deck to a 52 fabricated Scag deck, also upgraded the engine from 17HP air cooled Kawasaki to a 26 HP liquid cooled Kawasaki. I am considering doing a few more upgrades to it, which includes a snowblower attachment (eventually a plow, heated cab, lights, wipers, light bar, and perhaps rubber tracks). I already have a snowblower attachment Kubota TG2746A (which will have to be converted from belt driven to shaft driven operation), except the quick hitch that I'll have to try to find. One of my challenges is matching the proper impeller tip speed to set my PTO speed to. I have the operators and parts manual but it does not have that information in it. Does any member in the forum knows accurately what is the proper impeller tip speed or the proper RPMs that it shoud operate at?

I have a TG2746 blower on my Kubota TG1860G tractor. It throws snow, dry or wet, very well. Not sure of the impeller rpm.
I also have a BX24 tractor with a B2781 PTO blower on the back. In my case the impeller rpm is 540 with the tractor at wide open throttle, as it is direct drive from the PTO. It does NOT blow very well. The B2781 blower is intended for use as a front-mount blower on B series Kubota tractors, where it also has a reduction drive to change the 2000 RPM mid PTO speed of the tractor to 900 rpm for the impeller.
Having said all this, I think you should shoot for something in the 800/900 rpm range when designing your drive system.

Thank you for the information Pete, I was figuring 900-1000rpm. I just got a heavy duty 3 point gearbox (here is where I need to do the speed reduccion) to do the conversion from the vertical movement on my engine to a horizontal movement and I will have front and rear PTO (same speed, reversed rotation) controled by a heavy duty electric PTO ctutch. I will start on the project probably in mid spring and I am hoping to have at least the snowblower set up and ready to work for next winter. I will keep updates on the project progress.
