Kubota Transmission Case Crack

I can't tell for sure from the pix, but on my Bx2350 there is a pin in the middle of the plate that keeps it from moving forward, it looks like this one may be missing.

I know this is an old thread but I want to make an observation and a comment. If it were my machine, I would reverse those pins so the cotter pin is on the lower side. That way if the cotter pin wears and breaks or is not properly installed, the pin remains in the arm and will not drop due to gravity. It is much more convenient with the cotter pin up but it is much more risky.
