That's the thing about hydraulic oils..theres no 3rd party testing like engine oil so they can claim anything on the jug and it not be correct.

True, sort of. If the fluid meets or exceeds the OEM standard you have to assume it does and the cost of the fluid directly impacts the quality of it. The fluid I use exceeds the Kubota OEM standard for SUDT and the cost reflects that. I always trust the engineers at the OEM level to designate what fluids they recommend. They know better than any consumer because they are involved directly with the manufacture of a unit.

Because of the winter - summer temperature extremes we encounter here, I don't use Kubota fluids. I prefer the Chevron All Weather THC synthetic because of the cold weather flowability plus it does well in the summer heat. Not a cheap date however.

5030, I tried to find 5 gallon pails of Chevron All Weather THC full synthetic in my area. No go. I think it is a superior product. Easy for me to just buy the Kubota Super UDT. 75% synthetic.

It is hard to get in some areas. I get mine from my jobber in Toledo and I understand NAPA also can get it.
