Kubota L2800
Hi,

I have a L2800 with a Woods 1008 Loader and Woods BH6500 backhoe and want to remove the Loader to do some brush cutting. I removed the Backhoe and connected the 2 rear hydraulic lines together. When I am removing the Loader there is a warning about hydraulic pump damage and to connect the pressure hose past the port or to turn the diverter screw on the hydraulic block. I do not see a diverter screw on the block or where to connect the pressure hose. Any help out there? Perhaps a nights sleep may help me.

Thanks Frank

By connecting the hose together, you are giving the fluid somewhere to go if you inadvertently activate the valve.

Look and see if you have a screwdriver slot on the hyd. block. If you do, that is the valve. Try and turn 1/4 turn, it well only turn one way, try cw and ccw.
When you put the bh back on it might not work unless you turn the valve back. It might also stop the loader and if it does that is were you want it if you are taking the loader off. That should be in the manual, but hard to understand.

Well I've been cutting the long grass with the loader attached and decided to look at how to disconnect/remove the loader once again. At the aluminium hydraulic block (NP1006377) there are 3 connections N (PBY), P (IN, pressure) and T (OUT, return) with quick disconnects to the loader. The actual port labels on the block are N (top left), P (top right) and T (bottom right). There is a backhoe which when disconnected just loops the hose back from the N port to the loader. The question is when I disconnect the loader there are 3 disconnects and I am thinking something should be looped back or does the block when disconnected let the fluid recirculate? Not divert-er screw on the block.

Any insight would be appreciated

If your loader was connected from the hyd block, you will have to jump a hose from the P to the PB port. You might plug the tanks port if you are not using it..

My B9200 hyd block has a screw to turn to either use loader and 3pt or 3pt only. I leave mine in the loader position and couple a hose.

Do a short test when you have removed the loader and see if you have 3pt operatin.
