This morning's Dallas Morning News online classifieds has a Kubota ad showing 'up to $5,000 discount on L30 series and up to $8,000 discount on Ms'.

It lists the north Texas dealers so this may be regional.

Also 0% for 24 - 36 months through Dec 31 with the usual qualifiers.

And I was hoping that the basic line, 2800, 3400, 4400, would get the push.

The advertisement you heard is a marketing ploy. "Up to" $5,000 means if you load up a tractor, take the discount from list price (which no one ever pays) you might get to the sales price. However, dealers are trying to clear out the 30 series L's to make way for the new 40 series L's that are shipping so there are factory discounts (a few hundred dollars) that were not there originally,plus the dealer may be adding an extra discount to clear the discontinued models. Standard L's are not that old and Kubota/the dealers do not need to clear them out so don't look for big additional discounts on those. On M's there are no big clearance programs like the 30 series either, however, especially in your neck of the woods, the M's are a huge seller and the add will get people in the store. There is excellent financing right now, as there usually is with Kubota.

Kubota does have a "Customer Instant Rebate" on GrandL 30s and B 30s that they just "doubled" for December.
Could be worth up to $ 800.00 for an L30 with FEL, $ 500.00 for an L30 only, and $ 600.00 for a B30.
Coupled with extra incentives to dealers = Really good time to buy!
