I've done some searches and haven't found much in the way of reviews on the Kubota Z400 series. I have read everything I could locate on the Z100 series.
My budget is around $6,000 - $6,500 and currently looking at Kubota.
Kubota Z411KW-48 ~$6,000
Kuboa Z121S-48 ~$5,000
Kubota Z125-54 ~$5,800
Not much difference in price between the Z411 & Z125 but a 6" difference in cut. Not sure I need a 54" but it's in the budget.
We fenced in around an acre yard at our farm that we'll use this for. Probably 10-12 big oak trees scattered around the acre but fairly open. Before building the house and shop, this was part of a field for grazing cattle. Around the house it has been smoothed out but has some minor rough spots away from the house.
I've used my mom's Exmark a few times over the years but that is the only experience I have with zero turns.
Thinking Kubota since I recently bought a used MX5100 and think it would be convenient to have both pieces of equipment serviced at the dealer which is about 40 miles from our house. There really isn't anything any closer. Scag dealer is next door so that could be a possibility if they have a similar model that fits into our budget.
What are your thoughts about the 3 models listed above and a comparible Scag based on above?
