Kubota ZD1211 Price and Questions (Diesel Zero Turn)

I found a 2016 ZD1211 60" side discharge with 450 hours on it in good condition and I'm trying to determine private party cash value. Oklahoma is the location.

Also, are there any concerns with a 2016 model? My understanding is that this is the first year of this model, even though it was based on previous versions. They are still making them now but I believe there is a "3" in the model number now.

I have plenty of mowers but this has been on my "want" list and I would love to have it as part of my arsenal lol

I previously had a Z726X, it was an absolute beast as far as performance, but obnoxiously loud and rough riding. The diesel seems to purrrr and the pivoting front axle should help the ride.

I am thinking if I can get it for $8k I am getting a decent deal, it wouldn't be an absolute steal, but probably slightly under value considering they list for $20k on the Kubota website:

I have a 2019 (ish) ZD1211. I haven't read about any issues with the earlier models.
I have 1200 hours on it now, with practically no problems.

With any of the models the hydraulic system is expensive to repair. One thing to check is functioning and speed of raising lowering deck cold oil versus hot oil as well as driving uphill cold versus hot oil

If everything works I wouldn't hesitate to buy one with those hours. I just bought a new one last year for just south of $18K. I really like it.

Just looked at it... will not be buying that one. Not as nice as I would like to have. Every side had some sort of impact, crash, ding, or scratch. Front had been rammed into something. Side fender was bashed in. Rear rims were bent up around the bead like they crashed into something, rear tires were new, how would it need new tires with only 450 hours?!?!?! The guy said it was that way when he bought it used at the dealer last year. Looks like it had never been blown off, grass in every crevice. Not the kind of machine I'm looking for.

Sorry it didn't work out. By your description, I would suspect the machine didn't get much maintenance either.
I get around 500-600 hours on rear tires, but I run on the road between 17 different 2+ acre lots within a half mile radius or so. Pavement eats them up.
