Kubota ZD21 engine not stopping for a few minutes after being turned off

I have this Kubota ZD21 Diesel tractor. After mowing the grass I turned the tractor off. It did not stop for about two minutes. I tried again and it did the same thing. I then engaged the mowing deck and stood up. The Tractor kept of running. I disengaged the mowing deck and then waited a few minutes for it to shut off. The engine sounded a bit rough and there was a little bit of vibration as it shut off. Can anyone provide me some guidance and direction on resolving this issue. The tractor operates normally in all other aspects.

I think it should have an electric fuel solenoid that is slow in closing, you may have to disassemble it and clean it or replace. Just a guess.

Fuel stop solenoid, recommend replacement cleaning is iffy
