I recently bought a ZD21 with 2000 hours on it. It runs and cuts great but the only way I know to start it is to push the back of the electric controller with a screwdriver. When I push in the small brass plate on the back of the small electric control box, kubota calls it a controller and it sells for $204, and turn the key it will start. Without pushing in the back of the box, nothing happens when the key is turned. I have tested all the switches and they seem to be fine. Does anyone know what would cause this and if there is a simple solution. I don't want to get the new controller if that is not the cause. The controller is toward the front right of the machine below your right hip when sitting on the machine. All 4 of the switch wires enter this small black box. Any ideas?
