I picked the machine up tonight. Here is a pic of it on the trailer. I will post one of the ROPS mounting area too. It looks just like the ones you posted.

I measured last night ans from the top of the mounting plate to the garage door when it's up is just oover 5'6". I'm hoping I get something to fit under that.

Can you tell us what engine it has, maybe I can check the closest US model. If not mistaken there is not a direct cross over model from GL-21 to US model. This model comes from the Kubota Grand L series and surely US model Rops could fit on your machine. It is a very good machine, which from my experience is not commonly imported in the States or Canada.

Engine data as near as I can figure.....

Best I can tell tractor Serial Number is:
1828

Engine Data
KO27 K2-D 013-N
On side of engine block "L393" followed by what looks like a lowercase. cursive "L"
Other side of engine block "14"

I'm not 100% sure about the number above. The first letter could be an "R" instead of a "K" and the last 4 characters in the string are in doubt, they could be either of the following "U13-N" or "W3-N" in addition to what I think they are above.

Sorry No.s given make no sense to me. Pls use the attached Kubota engine identification picture.

If not mistaken, the engine No. should be starting with a `D` and is near the main fuel pump as shown on the centre picture of attachment. The numbers will be punched.

Machine s/n is also punched on the transmission and starts with GL.........

I found the engine No. and it is D1403-8315. So if I'm reading this right it is 3 cylinder 14 something displacement (1.4 L?)and the series is 03.

Now for the machine serial number I searched and wiped every bit of dirt off the underneath and I couldn't find anything that was stamped. Any more clues as to where it is? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I found another casting number on the right rear underneath near where the main hydraulic line comes out (huge filter attached to this line too, Kubota P/N T0070-37711, I need a new one or an equivalent) and it says 5YV C3.

Narrowing it down I hope! Thanks again for all your help.
