I have found an 07 Kubota zg2048 with 180 hours priced at 4500. It looks to be in great shape. I am looking to replace an early 1970's gravely 812. I would like to use this mower around my father's farm; several acres of vegetable field headlands and numerous obstacles such as green houses fruit trees out buildings ect. as well as a few other properties that I take care of, average lot size 2 acres. With a ztr it would probably be 12 to 16 hours of mowing a week. I'd like to get some feed back on wheather the price of this machine is reasonable and would this machine meet my light commercial needs?

Honestly for that price I'd check around to see if anyone is having any good end of the season sales. I paid $6000 new at the end of 2005, and it came with a warranty. As far as if it's too much mowing for the mower, I don't know, a ZG is air cooled while a ZD is liquid cooled (I think.) I have no idea if that would make a difference on a hot day.
