Hello, I am new to this board. I have a few question. I have a ZG23 with 54" deck.
I need to replace my bags on the bagger system. In the three years of owning the mower it has been great, but the bagger system has had some parts wear out.
1. Where can I find replacement bags other than the dealer (70 each, I need two) The frame measures 15X19 and the depth of the bag is 23".
I am thinking of having aluminum cages built with a quick release door on the bottom for easier unloading. Has anyone done this.
Other than the anti scalp wheels needing to be replaced, this has been a great unit.
2. I read about people using the Gator blades, is there a specific blade I need to use? The gator site does not have a listing for my mower.
3. I would like to be able to tow a small trailer (8 cu ft) but need to install some kind of hitch. Does anyone know if these are avaliable or have an idea of how to build one?
Information.
If you have this bagging system, the replacement chute is $230. If you have a local Grass Hopper dealer, they will sell you a 6" X 54" chute for under $60 and all you have to do is cut a few feet off of it.
