Howdy Folks,
I have a Kubota B3200. I've had several problems with this Kubota but I'm not changing now. Main wiring harness ($670., mower deck gearbox 2x $900 for rebuild) broken deck arms-weld repaired, etc, etc.
We had storms here in central Illinois on 29Jun. Straight line winds of 80mph. It dumped a lot of limbs and trees. Our power (Ameren of Illinois) went out at 12:14pm on 29Jun. It is 01Jul and we are still out. Ameren said they had 120,000 customers out. We expect to get power on 03 or 04 Jul.
I have a 12,000 volt pto generator and I'm driving it with the B3200. It has run continuously (other than fuel out twice) The temp gauge has stayed at mid gauge. It ran from 08:00pm until 10:00am on the first tank (6.5 gal)
I bumped the rpm to get voltage right on second tank full and I lost 1.5 hrs run time. Still not bad in my book.
I have a crossover system in my breaker box and I am running the whole house. 220v water pump, 2 ton AC, elec range, etc. It has cranked since 08:00 29Jun nonstop, except for two fuel outages(I miss judged fuel usage.)
No problem restarting after fuel outage. I fully expected to purge fuel lines etc. but it cranked up both times with out hesitation.
Third fueling was again my mistake and at 05:30 this am it ran out. I use a c-pap machine and when the power goes, I AM AWAKE IN SECONDS.
We are blessed that we have the system. This is approaching the severity of two ice storms during our life 52yrs at this address.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
