kubya l5740 quick discconnect size

Just bought a boss skid steer plow - it only has a 78 inch hose to go from plow to my kubota l5740 loader hydraulics-should I just get quick connects and another hose or just get one long hose- also what size and type disconnect do I get to hook to FEL loader hydraulics- thks

Since you got a skid steer snowplow it probably has 1/2" flat face couplers like this



I am not sure about the hose question. The blade only has 1 hose?

Is the plow cyl a DA cyl or a SA cyl?

Whatever QD is on the plow, just replace the QD with the same type as on the tractor.

If it is an SA cyl, use one of the curl work ports and plug the other work port.

ok- maybe I was not being clear- complete newbee!! I am talking about the disconnects that you remove by the cab to remove the FEL- I thought I could just run the hose direct from the plow into the Hydraulic connection for the FEL to handle the angle movement using the joystick on the FEL- or am I not correct- I called 3 Kubota dealers asking what type and size the disconnect for the FEL was and not one of them new the answer?? I am going to remove the short hoses from the plow and just get 2 long ones built to run into the disconnects that control the FEL- Does that make sense??thanks from a newbee!!!!

You say you are using the FEL valve to control the plow, using two hoses to angle the plow, is that correct.

If the FEL valve has QD's, take one of them to a hyd shop and match up the QD, or just remove the QD on the loader hoses and use those QD's.

thanks- yes I want to use the joystick to contol angle movement so I think i just have to have 2 lines made (one for each anlge and run them to the loader valve which hooks up the FEL- am I doing it the right way- thanks so much for the help
