Gee, and I sold my Branson with a Kukje. My new TYM with the Duetz, does not have DEF. I'm not sure about the EGR.

It does make you wonder why other engines have so much unnecessary complexity built in. Complexity equates to failure points. If you can do all of this in a Kukje diesel without the added complexity and expense, then why add it at all? Our Farmall 826 still runs. It has had a hard life as the primary HP on a 100+ acre farm since it was built. It just runs. You won't see a limp mode or a fault code, a bad seat switch, brake switch, clutch switch... You press the starter button and it runs.

My guess is that some official will decide that it is somehow unfair, or not in keeping with their dicta and force them to do it like the others.
