Kyoti CK22 HST - Filter supplier in the UK (or France....)?

Hi.

Hope this is in the right forum.

I recently bought a Kyoti CK22 HST mini-tractor. I run a 17 acre farm near Le Mans in France. It's got a bucket thing on the front and a grass cutting thingy on the back, and quite frankly it's awesome. I'm such a big kid. :laughing:

However, it's about 18 moths old, and I've done 50 hours or so on it and I need to change the filters (oil, fuel, air) and change the oil/trans fluid over. As I bought it locally I had thought I could source the parts from the dealer, but he's only willing to fit them himself (hardly rocket science) and would like to charge me 400 euros for the pleasure. :thumbdown:

So I'd like to source the filters from somewhere, either France or more likely the UK where this sort of thing will probably be a third of the price. But hours of googling and searching auction sites has failed to turn up anywhere where I can check the prices of them and order them online.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced UK Kyoti dealer who would be willing to post me these filters for a reasonable price? Or point me to a website?

Hello Ben and welcome to TBN. As you have probably figured out, most of us are in North America. There is one member, Donegal_tdi who is in Ireland and is about to go to his Kioti dealer. You might send a personal message to Donegal_tdi and have him ask his dealer.

Alternatively, while shipping would be costly you might get a US dealer to provide filters. Our dealers would laugh at the idea that only they can change fluids and we often just buy supplies from them. If you have trouble finding a reasonable European source, try contacting either Wallace Tractor or Michigan Iron here on TBN. They can also probably get you some cross reference numbers for alternate filter sources.

One other thing: check to see what the 400 Euro fee includes. If it is all fluids and filters including HST filters as well as going over the tractor then the charge is high but not ridiculous. The filters and fluids for the 50hr service can cost close to $200 here. After 50hrs things are cheaper until you hit each additional 200hr interval.
