Hopefully someone can solve a small dispute here. lol
Here is the situation.2003 Chevy Venture Van There is a front bearing going .I purchased the new one, assuming that its the driverside thats gone.However I made the same assumption before on a different car and I was wrong.
I attempted to jack one side and put it in drive and see which one made the noise. But its all wheel drive and it would try to spin the other wheel..
Now,, going down the road. when a skight turn to the LEFT the noise stops some. Turn to the right and its as bad if not more. I assume thats when turning to the left it takes the weight off the drivers side and more pressure(weight) on the passenger side. therefore it is most likely the drivers side bearing gone.
The bearing hub is only 60 dollars so I could replace the two but want to do just the one at this time.
