L or R Bearing gone ..(auto(

Hopefully someone can solve a small dispute here. lol
Here is the situation.2003 Chevy Venture Van There is a front bearing going .I purchased the new one, assuming that its the driverside thats gone.However I made the same assumption before on a different car and I was wrong.
I attempted to jack one side and put it in drive and see which one made the noise. But its all wheel drive and it would try to spin the other wheel..
Now,, going down the road. when a skight turn to the LEFT the noise stops some. Turn to the right and its as bad if not more. I assume thats when turning to the left it takes the weight off the drivers side and more pressure(weight) on the passenger side. therefore it is most likely the drivers side bearing gone.
The bearing hub is only 60 dollars so I could replace the two but want to do just the one at this time.

Spend the extra 60 bucks and replace both bearings. You should do that anyways. because if one is bad the other is not far behind.

Since it changes when you turn the wheels is it possible it is the CV joint/U joint that is getting tired?
Just a thought.

Thanks for the ideas. I took the chance and changed the drivers side. That was the one I thought it was. I had a 50/50 chance. but got it right this time ,not like last time on another vehicle.lol Of course, I found the one inside brake pad worn to the metal,(dues to a frozen slide pin) So I ended up pulling and replacing brakes both sides..
Funny thing is I had been cleaning the shop for a month, and just barely discarded my brake pad bucket(used pads) and I could have used one with some meat on it to get me to another day and then replace the pads. luckily it wasn't a holiday as usual and I was able to get to the store and get pads.(2 hour drive). Seems like when I toss something I need it...

Final determination: when turning slightly to the left the noise goes more silent as more vehiocle weight goes to the right side.(body roll). So it is the left bearing (drivers) that is gone....
