L series front axle lubrication plug

Fellows I can not find the previous thread. I got lucky today with the 7mm square plug you are suppose to remove from the front axle to allow greasing. As others stated the 7mm open end wrench would slip. Was able to use a 8mm craftsman box end wrench. Tapped it (not beat) on the square plug and worked great. Hope this helps someone I sure have rcieved a lot of help from here. Thanks

Funny, I just greased mine last weekend. Could get any wrench to fit nicely so just used an adjustable.

Also used my new locknlube for the first time. Wow, so much nicer with it. Highly recommend.
