Oil & Fuel L series (specifically 3240) Transmission Fluid=Hydrostatic Oil?

Sometimes I think it depends on the machine you use it in. On my L2800HST going to SUDT2 made no difference in gear whine. In my Kawasaki Teryx with straight cut differential gears that are notoriously loud, the SUDT2 was amazing and nearly eliminated the whine.
