L175 What's it worth?

OK all you orange guys, give me a little advice. There is a L175 with a 4' cutter for sale in this area. It has 750 hours and looks fairly good in a picture I've seen, definitely used but not in bad shape that I can tell from the pic. Asking price is $2500.00. What years was that model made and does the price sound in the ballpark? Actually it sounds pretty cheap to me. Let me know your collective orange thoughts.

Here is a little info on the tractor. It says it was made from '73-'76.

a 17 horse in a yanmar would be about $3500.00 without the mower.

That price seems reasonable.

May I suggest the following idea for your consideration? At the time of purchase, ensure that the used tractor in question has all of the attachments and options that you need. Buying such addons separately and at a later date usually proves to be time consuming and costly.

Over the summer I sold my L185 with a 4' hog and 5' blade for $5,000.00. It had around 850 hours. I had 2 different people stop within two hours and the second person bought it. Actually I wish I had not sold it.

If it is in good condition $2500.00 for a L175 sound like a good price.

I bought one last December w/ no equipment for $1500 was asking $1800, not sure of the hours tach is broken. Been using it to run a tiller and straight blade great little tractor.
