L25 50 LT Question about the oil

I inherited a tractor.
I did not get any directions for use.
Before i used it I wanted to check fluid levels,
I pulled off the engine covers and saw the oil dip stick and it was a qt low.
I then walked around the tractor and right in the back behind the seat above the top stabelizer was a red cap that said oil. Is that right? Oil goes in back there?
Any other fluids that need to be checked and their location. I di see the radiator and the tran fluid appears to be below the seat at foot level?
Any help would be appreciated.

In addition there is a bush hog tiller RC 48 and a woods cutting deck.
We have never hooked up or unhooked these and if there is an order/sequence in hooking those up that would help too.

My apologies, but if I go a tractor I am going to use it.

NO, the cap in the rear is for Hydraulic oil!!! Not the motor oil...

I'm pretty sure there are manuals online that you can get...

How do you check the level?
I opened it up and just stuck my finger there and it didnt get wet LOL

I would go ahead and print the manual out, helps when you do maintenance. Also, read the whole manual, lots of good information in there. As for adding motor oil, page 42 on the printed copy (pg. 46 in PDF) and page 43 shows how to check the Hydraulic oil level.

Did you talk to the previous owners about the tractor maintenance?? I see now you "inherited" it... How many hours does the tractor have? and does the tractor look well cared for, clean? Or dirty and abused? Photos would help (not really, just want to see them :laughing
