L2500 3-pt not lifting any ideas

I was using a blade to plow snow yesterday and suddenly my 3-pt lift stopped working. I tried adjusting it with the adjustment nuts and it made no difference. When I try and raise and lower there is no noise and I can lift the the point hitch by hand with no resistance. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be..Thanks

If it is real cold where you live you could have moisture in your hyd oil and it might have frozen at the inlet to filter or hyd pump but I seriously doubt it. It does sound like you are not getting oil flow to and thru the pump.

It is not frozen, and my front loader is working fine just not lift on the 3pt. I move the lever and nothing happens it just sits in lowered position.

Check to see if the lever is moving the spool in the valve body. Maybe a connecting pin has fallen out.

Try the hydraulic shut off knob for the hitch below the seat.

I tried adjusting the hydraulic knob on both ends of the spectrum and it didn't make any difference. My raise and lower lever does seem like it has very little resistance but I can't see any missing connections. It's like the pressure is not being regulated by the raise/lower lever. Thanks for the ideas to try..

earthpig: I had the same problem on Fri, my joystick for the loader was in the float position. Didn't no what happen for a couple of mins. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif 3pt woulded move up or down.
Hope its that simple for you too.
