L2501
So thanks to all the advice here that convinces me that a BX is not the best one for me, i have been leaning towards a B23xx or L2501. Used prices are about 16.5k and 18k respectively.

is the pricing seems right? Is warranty transferrable?

i have a friend that has attachments etc for his L4701. Would i be able to borrow his bh to put on a L2501? Thanks.

It depends on what attachment you are meaning by saying BH

IF you mean backhoe....the answer is NO. The tractor needs a subframe, the hydraulics plumbed, and the backhoe for a 4701 is probably a bit bigger than the 2501.

Now if you mean Bushhog....it depends.

What is the size and weight of the bushhog? The manuals (and even salesmen) are really conservative with bushhog sizing. So most people end up running a cutter that is smaller than what the tractor can actually handle. IF thats the case....then maybe. But like I said....make/model....or size and weight of the cutter would be the determining factor.

Regarding tractor prices.....Are those new prices or used? Whats the Options? HST or Gear? I assume no loader if those are new prices?

You have not stated your applications for a Backhoe. Consider a Bucket Spade in lieu of a Backhoe. A Bucket Spade is nowhere nearly as capable as a $6,500 backhoe but Bucket Spades cost less than $450. Bucket Spades come in various weights. You would want a medium weight Bucket Spade on an L2501.

I meant backhoe.

Those prices in my previous are used, but less than 50 hrs used. Hst, fel.

i went to kubota’s build your own website, it priced the b2601 about 19.5- 1.5k rebate, l2501 costs 18.8 after 2k rebate. All includes fel.

i realize it is a seller’s market, so dont know how things are priced.

My L2501 was about $20,000 in July, 2019 with FEL for comparison. I don't know what they go for now, nor do I know the availability. I was under the impression the warranty would transfer so you may want to check on that or see if the dealer will offer some kind of warranty.

If you can get a new 2501 with loader for $18.8k it is foolish to consider a used one for $18k

The backhoe is a no go. Bh77 and bh92 are different. Wouldn't hook up even if you had the hydraulics and subframe

To answer your warranty question; yes, Kubota (and emissions) warranties are fully transferable. Technically it doesn't have to be transferred, warranty simply follows the machine until the warranty expires.
The only caveat is the unit must have been sold new and the warranty registered in the USA.
