The 2800/3400/3700 are small but are very useful and handy machines for a hobby farm. Expecially with 4wd and loader.

To extend on some of the prices he listed above, (which is msrp W/O the loader)

All are with HST (Gear didn't show as an option on 3700 so I used HST to keep thing equal) and loader, 4wd, and just the standard features.

L2800- $19,232
L3400- $21,050
L3700- $20,050

For the money, I'd opt to get almost 10HP more and go with the L3700 for only ~$800 more.

That is if you decide on this sized machine.

Right now, only about 20. But later that number will grow to probably 100 or more.the majority of the hay we use is in square bales.I want to get away from sqaure bales, as they are more work.

is a m4900 with gear trans, loader, mfwd and 1300 hours a decent deal at 14000???im thinking that this would be a much better fit for what I want to do???

If its in good shape, I'd say its a pretty good deal.
