Price Check L2800 price and info.

Hi, new member here. I made a deal on a L2800 gearshift model with FEL, block heater, loaded ag tires and delivered 85 miles. Price is $17,100 and they are giving me $10,100 for my B7800HST with 700 hours on it. They were several hundred dollars lower then my local dealer and they are buying my B7800 sight unseen to beat out a New Holland dealers offer on a 1510 which I already decided against buying. My local dealer told me he wouldn't give me what I wanted for my tractor and that he would work off of list price on a trade in deal. I think it's a good deal but was curious what others have paid. Any comments appreciated. Thanks, great site here. I got lots of info already from here.

I bought an L3400 HST, loader, ag tires, folding ROP, loaded tires delivered about 50 miles in March 08 for $16,200..
With the market the way it is and not sure where you are-- That sounds about right..
Curiousity has me here-- why are you moving from an HST to gear?

March 09 traded in my 14 year old B7100HST w/fel and 910 hrs on meter for $7100.oo towards 08 L2800HST w/fel...final cost $9.850.

Radar- I use the tractor in the woods mostly and don't do a lot of loader work, mowing, etc. All my other tractors were gearshift till I got the B7800. I guess old habits die hard. How have your tractors been for reliability? Thanks for the replies. I haven't signed on the line yet, they will be delivering this week. It sounds like I may have been able to get a slightly better deal but who knows. I'm getting burned out on tractor shopping. Thanks again.

My tractor has been great.. got 200 hours on it.. and moving on..
I hear ya about the loader, I can't see using a gear at all if there is much loader work at all..

when we had our big snow fall this year-- don't laugh-- a whole foot I ran circles around an uncle with a 2550 gear...

Just bought a L2800 HST with loader, 5' rotarty cutter, and 6' box blade, and tooth bar delivered 30 miles for $17.200. I also took advantage of the 0% for 60 months financing.

It seems to me you guys are getting some good deals. I should have started lower on price and higher on trade but I'm not too unhappy with the deal and I did take advantage of that 0% also. Are the prices that different depending on what part of the country your in? I'm buying this from a dealer in PA but I live in NY about 60 miles west of Binghamton. Thanks again for the replies.

06 L2800 HST w/ FEL $15,500. No problems yet. I do alot of finish mowing, some tilling, box blading and backhoe work. Strong tractor.

frosty did you check out marshall machinery in pa, I am located in long eddy by hancock ny. I am getting an L4400 from them
