I'm the proud new owner of a 1998 L2900GST. The unit has a LA480 FEL w/standard duty 60" bucket and R4s. Overall, the tractor is in very good shape with just over 1000 hr. and belonged to the owner of a Kubota dealership. He told me that the fluid changes were performed about twice as often as recommended and that he ran Rotella in everything except the transmission, for that he used Kubota oil.
The only down side if there is one, is that the R4s will need to be replaced within the next year. My questions are:
1. Are there any L2900 owners on TBN that know what the MFWD ratio is for this model or where I could find it?
2. What brand /size are you currently running?
3. Does anyone know of an online source for R4s w/pricing?
I haven't taken delivery yet so I can't provide any other details about the current tires except that it has Firestone 420/70-24 rears and Titan 10-16.5 NHS on the front.

except I'm orange instead of green.
