L2900

Hi Everyone,
I have a 1996 L2900 Kubota and wonder what size box blade to get for it . I have a new 6' Bush Hog Mower for it. But not sure if it will pull a 6' box blade. I am looking at a King Cutter brand.I will use it for mild leveling.
I just got this tractor and it is my 6th one i have had (tractor that is) I have had Bob cats, but I love this Kubota.It has 4x4

The L2900 is the smaller of the L2900 – L3300 – L3600 – L4200 series. These are all great Kubota tractors. I have the L4200 and I love it. These are the Grand L series and have lots going for them.
Your box blade should be slightly wider than the width of your rear tires. If you get the heaviest brand it should hold up and serve you well for a long time… KennyV.

I have a L2900 GST with a 7' rear blade. A 6' box blade would be fine. Great tractor. I find I run out of traction way before I stall the tractor, and this is pulling either dirt or stumps (small ones) out of the ground.

In the north, I have found a rear blade flipped around also works for pushing snow around really well.

FYI,
The L2900 was superceded by the L3010 and eventaully the L3130. The 2900 and the 3010 are almost the same tractor. The 3130 has a fair amount of changes.

I think the L2900 will be just right for me. It will cut my yard mostly. and move stones for a cool walk way around my Manor.I am using natural rock, looks cool. I will post pictures when I get them.
