I have a L3000 and would like to change the tranie fliuid. This is a manual tractor (no HST). Can I use Amsoil oil. If so, is the stuff I need the automatic transmission fluid ATH? Is there a way to put on a aux tranie filter? Thanks for the Help. Rich.

Ok, clue me in. 70 people read this post and no responses? I have been away from this board for a while and something has changed. Was it because I used the word Amsoil? Is it that nobody has any expierence on the L3000dt?, Or was this just a completly stupid question? Rich.

Rich, you got it./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I have no experience with that model (manual transmission). What oil does the manual recommend? Amsoil will have an oil for it, but I'm not sure which you should use without knowing whether Kubota recommends a hydraulic oil, gear oil, etc.

Bird, they call for UDT. I'm glad to see that this was not a stupid question. Rich.

OK, Rich, if it calls for UDT and you want to use Amsoil, the ATH is the right thing. That's what I have in my B2710.
