I recently purchased and installed a Kubota B/H (P#70000-92500),into my L3010.The kit consisted of metal bushing,a 400W heater element, and a weather proof 7" power cord with locking nut. The bushing has a .013" taper on one end that is inserted into a vacated frost plug hole. The other end has internal threads, that are used to accommodate the heater assy. The heater assy. as mentioned earlier is 400W type with threads on one end,and terminals to accept the cord assy.,on the other. The cord assy,. has push on terminals held in place by a nut. The instructions, written for many different eng. styles, suggested picking a frost plug about mid engined. My engine, being a three cylinder, made the choice easy.I started by removing side panel, grill assy.,drained collant, for access I also removed the starter.Plug removal was not that difficult.I first drilled two 1/4" holes into the center of the plug, then used a tapered drift pin to pop it out. After cleaning out the hole,I used locktite around the tapered end,and tapped into place. The threads of the heater assy.,were then coated with teflon tape and screwed into place. The cord assy.,was then pushed on,and secured with locknut.Put all back together,no leaks, works great.
