L3010 loader

Hi, I read this board all the time and it helped me in deciding to buy a new Kubota L3010 last July and now with over 100 hours on it I'm starting to see that I could use a loader. Can anybody give me an idea on price for the LA481 or LA482 loader? I'll be using it for light duty work.

If I remember rightly, the LA482 I bought in September for my L3010 cost me $3660, installed. I'll check the paperwork tonight and revise if I am wrong. You probably will have a hard time finding the LA481, unless your dealer has one in stock left over. LA482 leaves the joystick on the tractor for running other implements. Personally, I have no need for that. I would rather be rid of the [censored] thing when I don't have the loader on. They made a few other minor changes, but that is the only biggy.

The LA482 was $3410 last November, you will also need to think about adding some weight in the rear tires. When I first got my L3010 I was regularly lifting the rears off the ground and doing some really kewl front wheelies

I don't know how old this page is or if the equip is still available, but I found it as part of my online research. I'm planning on buying a L3010DT with a loader in the near future. Good point I forgot to add. That $3660 was the package deal and included weighting the rear tires with windshield washer fluid. I can still lift the rear end of the ground with the bucket curl. Can't imagine how sporting it would be without any weight at all.
