A good friend and neighbor passed on last year.He was "roadtrash" here on TBN.Anyhow, his widow(nice people)needs his tractor serviced-another friend keeps her snow handled and I feel like I should handle the maintenance end.I've been going through the operators manual and all their receipts to see where we are.The 50 hour service was done at the dealer, using UDT,they changed the fuel filter and oil and filter as well as both hydraulic filters as well, and the 10 gallons of UDT.We're at 274 hours now and the service manual calls for the 200 hour service to include changing hydraulic filters($100-she has them)and cleaning the strainers, then at 400 hours the same routine plus new fluid. My question is I think I can change filters pretty quick, but removing the strainers and cleaning them will take awhile. How much fluid will I lose in this operation, and should I just consider a complete fluid change?Thank You in advance.
