Just bought a b2620. Originally I purchased a bx2660, had buyers remorse and upgraded slightly to a 2620. I am getting a brand new (Leftover 08), no hours, Tractor, 60" mower and L304 front loader for 14,500. If I want the L364 it is going to run me about 500.00
An extra 130 lbs lift capacity.....you will be paying about $4 per extra pound of lift capacity. No help there.
In terms of bags on concrete.....you would be able to carry 2 extra 80 lb bags of concrete (8 vs. 10) in the higher capacity FEL.
The lift capacity affects break out force...do you plan to add a digging bar and dig into hard soil?
Do you have lots of large rocks to move that exceed the capacity of the lesser FEL?
I would not think that the smaller loader would impact the usefulness of the machine (caveat - unless the lesser FEL comes with smaller bucket).....and if it would I would think that you should have moved up to the bigge B or L model.
Does the 304 (for the 2320) even work with the 2620? Perhaps it does, but it has a 48" bucket which isn't going to cover the 2620 width. The 364 bucket is 50".
I would pay the $500 and get the 364 and still consider it a good deal. Plus I would feel better about having the correct loader that matches the tractor.
When I purchased my 2620 the dealer advised he wont even sell a 2620 w/ the 304 loader. Its not the perfect fit like the 364 is. I would pay the extra money myself. Tractor, loader (364) and MMM for 15k is a good deal.
Even better, Not sure if this will be your primary mower or not? What kind of tires did you get? I dont mow w/ mine so I got my rears loaded w/ rim guard its a big help w/ stability when using your fel. If you dont load them make sure you use some kind of ballast on the 3pt when working w/ heavy FEL loads, I actually use both methods when moving heavy materiel. Good luck
