L3130/3430: Wait for improved models, or buy now???

I understand the Grand L series has experienced an overhaul. First question: How long will attractive financing continue? Second question: Will improvements be worth any cost increases? Since the new line has increased HP, perhaps there is no need to go to the 3430 for its current gain over the 3130. In the end, the cost of the improved 3130 may be the same of the current 3430. Final question: Will the improvements to the Grand L series be remarkable enough to truly distinguish them? The scuttlebutt is that the new HST will be a real performer. Kubota has released little information, and I am SOOOOOOO close to this purchase!

Only you can tell if it will be worth it to you. From what I've read the transmission is the main area of improvement. If you are concerned about the HP, you will probably be able to get a left over L3430 for cheaper, and with better financing than the new L3240.

All things considered, I think the L3430 vs. L3240 may be the best bang for the buck. If the financing remains in place, and the cost of the new unit is relative, I might be apprehensive about its first-production-year status. Attractive improvements though.

I'm planning on buying one of the new ones, a 4740, but its a tough one to say how much a role the improvements will play in my life. Its a small enough upcharge it seems worth giving them a shot.

I see the headlights are still designed to shine on the back of the FEL though. Some things never change. I suppose they are so proud of the FELs they want to make sure you can see it in any light.

I heard that many of the upgrades are for non experienced operators, like anti-stall, auto down shift. one features is that you will be able to adjust the sensitivity of your HST pedal.
