L3130 and Land Pride FDR1672 mower

Just had our new to us Kubota L3130 (432 hrs) with FEL delivered this last month. I played a bit using the FEL, makes quick work. We've been watching local craigslist for attachments. Found a quick attach pallet fork attachment in Montana last week so drove over (from eastern WA) last Friday, ended up getting it. I've been trying to decide what I want to keep ~7 acres mowed. It can get tall at times so I was looking a flail mowers, rotary mower and RFM. We have been using both mid mount mower on Gravely tractor as well as front mounted sickle mower. It takes awhile and has some dangerous slopes.

We ended up getting the Land Pride FDR1672. It came in yesterday, picked it up around 5pm, set up was quick, mowed ~2 hrs last night, 4 hrs more today.

I really like this tractor, FEL, RFM and forks. The finish mower did a nice job on the lawn and yard but tractor is too big to really use there (we have other mowers for lawn).

Thanks, it was traded in on a larger Kubota at the local dealer. Sales rep said it was embarrassing that this used tractor was cleaner than new ones on his lot.

That is a very nice tractor indeed. You should take the whole loader off for mowing it will make the machine much lighter and easier on the ground and it will need much less room for turning . You don't need the extra weight as that tractor has plenty of heft to handle that finish mower.

ps: That couch picture must be among the best ones in the fun with the tractor category.

Thanks. I was going to take the loader off, but have a steep hill to navigate and was not sure about the front lifting coming back up. It went well so will remove it next time mowing that area.

We are enjoying it for sure.
