I am looking at a L3130 GST 4WD and wondering if its a good price. It comes with a box blade a disc and a bush hog. I am trading the disc it comes with for a Tuffline and getting IND Tires as well. Altogether it is 16,300. Just wondering if that is a decent price and what yall have paid.
Thanks
Brandon

I take it this is a used 3130 since all the equipment? If so, how many hrs.
I visited a dealer yesterday that had a 3130 GST 4WD priced at $14500 new. I dont know how much new R4's run but when I bought my 3130DT last year I saved $600.00 going from R4 to R1.
BushHog depending on size and make could run $500-$1500 for that HP tractor. I paid $500 for a 5' squealer from one dealer where another wanted $800.00. Same wth box blades, what make is this one?
Sounds like a fair price with all the equipment, but that depends on hours and make and condition of equipment.

No its brand new an 05. It's actually a DT and its just a deal that my local dealer has going on the 3130 w/ 4 peices of equip. I am going to trade a boom poll box blade and bush hog for a nice 5ft bush hog and trading there little disc for a Tuffline disc. I am also getting Industrial tires as well. That price was with the box blade and bush hog so it should be about the same if I trade in box blade and bush hog.

According to Carver equipments website the MSRP is $14,720 plus $860 for the R-4's. Just for comparison I gave $14800 for a L3430DT 4wd with R4's. I think mine came out to about 12% off MSRP.

In Aug. '03 I paid $12,400 for new 3130Dt with 5' hog. One thing you might want to consider with the R4 tires is that the 5' hog may not cut the tire tracks out. This was the reason I went with R1 tires and the fact that I needed more traction pulling the 6' disc I use. The R4's make the 3130 look bigger which I liked but I needed the traction. The dealer tried to sell me a 6' hog but the grass I hog is thick and others may disagree but the 3130 is better suited for the 5' hog unless you don't let the fields get too tall.
What State are you located in?

I agree, I think the 5' Bushhog mower is plenty for the L3130. I have a LOT of hills and a 5' Bush hog seems an ideal match with hills.

I use a 6' rear finish mower sometimes on my flat lawn and that seems like a good match too.

If you have not already, go by other dealers close go by and get pricing on 3130DT. Also get pricing on the attachments. In my area I have 2 Kabota dealers within 20 min, 1 around 45 min and 2 more within 1hr and 15 min. Same with NH and Deere. All have been in business for years and have good reputations. You would think with this much competition pricing would be about the same. But I have found as much as $2500.00 difference on the same tractors, (I am currently pricing the M4900). I am also having a FEL put on my 3130 and have found a difference of $300.00 on the same 723 loader and to top it off the $300.00 savings was from a dealer I did'nt buy my 3130 from.
What all do you plan on doing with the tractor?
