kubota L3130
Hello,

I have been searching this site for information and haven't been able to find any information on the hooking up of hydraulics for an older 6' fisher plow to
a 2004 Kubota L3130. My question is.... Can I buy these fittings/disconnects
at TSC or are they maybe a special thread ? I will need hoses so I want to know if Kubota threads are the same as say something I can buy or need to have made. Any advise would be helpfull.

Check Surplus Center for QD's and hoses. You will need two matching male to female. What are you hooking up to?,Third function valve?Rear Remotes?Threads on tractor and cylinders should be NPT(National Pipe Thread) U.S.

Thanks for your quick response !! NPT sounds like a standard thread. I will disconnect from the top 2 valves on the joy stick that are the "curl" valves and go to the power angle on the plow. Is this OK ?

It's possible you may over pressurize the hoses/valve if the plow hooks hard on something, like a stump, rock, etc. Unless there's a work port relief on the loader valve, any pressure generated goes back into the hoses and valve. A crossover relief valve installed in the two hoses going to the angle cylinders will prevent damage like this.

Like I said, it's possible. Whether it's likely or not depends on the plow geometry and how you use it.

I'm pretty sure there is two of these relief valves on
the end of the joy stick valve. One for the up and down and one for the curl. Is there anything else I maybe overlooking ?

Are you mounting to FEL arms?Replaceing bucket? or sub-frame.I had a sub-frame mounted six foot on a L3130,worked well.Currently have a FEL mounted Curtis on my L4240.Dealer did my hydraulics .can't help there.
Either way..make sure your trip springs are working. Also you will need some weight on the back of the tractor, loaded tires ect.

Thanks for the reply's. I mounted it inside the bucket using the piece off the plow frame with the ears for the plow. After two or three trips to TSC and information from this site I was able to figure out that my 4 way valve woud work for the power angle on the plow. I have everything working now but might have to tweek where I mounted it in the bucket as I noticed you don't have control with the height of the plow if you can't use the float on your bucket(gravel, bumpy driveway). Any way I have the quick diconnect bucket and will modify a bracket for the plow so I can use the float option without the bucket. My main concern was getting the power angle to work without spending lots of $$$ for another valve. Thanks again, very usefull information from you guys.:D
