Hi all, long time ago I did a thread on installing rear remotes.

during the install I found the threads under the blank plate bad.
It looked like corrosion or salt water? had set in the threads a ate them out, you can see in the original thread. I told my dealer that two bolts that held seamed to work, but wanted him to know. I thought about a heli coil Heli-Coil ( HeliCoil Inserts ) Helicoils Screw Thread Inserts | Emhart.com for the third bolt, he said no it was under warranty, order what every I needed to take care of the problem, (I wanted to do the repair myself) turned out to be a valve body over 1000 dollars. Also told him I needed the tractor and didn't want to change parts till it was ready for service and filters, that was fine with him.
That was year ago, just got the parts and thought maybe some would like to see inside a tractor with 200 hours.

That was 200 HARD hours, brush mowing up to 2" trees, tilling clay, and such, maybe a little gear grinding.
I was impressed with insides, quality, and lack of any signs of use at all.

Looks great! But I kind of expected it to. Thanks for sharing--definitely interesting.
