Kubota M7040 cab/hyd shuttle - current, Kubota L3400 - traded
Just finished up a landscaping project - previous owners did not have much of a front garden. I got a chance to lift some big rocks as part of the project - and place them exactly where the Mrs wanted in the garden.

My L3400 performed admirably - as it has with everything I have ever thrown at it.

I took a picture or two of the loader lifting some large rocks. The loader managed effortlessly. I've heard a few times on here how the LA463 is supposedly 'weak' - so far it has managed to do everything I have thrown at it without any complaints whatsoever.

Glad to see that you have some more acreage there to play with!

That's a big rock. Just wondering, is your left worklight pointed in the sky for a reason?

The left worklight is pointed to the sky for a reason - except the reason is that given the location I chose for them they tend to hit the odd branch and get reoriented in the direction the branch chooses for them - rather in the direction that I chose for them originally :).

So not a reason of my choosing.

To all who are reading and intend to install worklights, don't do what I did. Setup your worklights so they are under/sheltered/same level as your canopy.

I'm going to muck around with the worklight setup so this happens less. If anyone has any thoughts, let me know.

Also - for anyone who is looking to get a canopy, I would strongly recommend Bird's advice - get one of the steel ones rather than fibreglass. The fibreglass is pretty easy to damage! I balked at the steel one because I could not source it here in Canada and shipping was going to cost about the same amount as the canopy. In hindsight, it would have been worth it It think.
