L3400 Owners - Implement sizes???

Due to an inheritance, we were able to order a new L3400. While I wait for the dealer to finish setting everything up, I thought I'd shop online for some new implements (basically everything we had was shot or the wrong size). What sizes of these should I be looking at?:

Box Blade: 5', 6'?
Grader Blade: 6', 7'?
Tiller: 4', 5', 6'?
Garden Plow: 1, 2 or 3 bottom? (just in case the tiller does work out $ wise)

I'm assuming I should be using a 5' rough cut and 6' finish mower based on HP? Correct?

Any info, tips, tricks, etc you can give would be greatly appreciated!!!

I've got a 6' heavy-duty grader blade and a 5' standard duty rotary mower on an L3400 (geared). No problems with either. The tractor has lots of power for its size and weight. Balance and traction are bigger issues with it when using heavy/large implements. It needs a fair amount of counterbalance, whichever end you load up.

ruready1, What L3400 model did you get? Gear (DT) or HST?? You loss a little HP with HST.

You can use large BB or Blade and just not use them aggressively. 5 foot would be the smallest but I would get as large (and as heavy duty) as you can find or buy (I'm still looking for a good used one ). NOT sure about tiller and plow...

Sorry about that, I should have thought to include that info! It is a L3400DT with gear drive and a 463 loader on the front.

The owner's manual says the max box blade is 54". I use a 60" with no problem, although I have completely stopped forward progress with a fully loaded box. Many people here use a 72" one so that is sticks out past the tires and say they wouldn't use anything smaller.

The tractor can handle it. I have the L3400HST and love it. My only regret is buying too small of attachments. If you get where the tractor doesn't have the power all you do is take a smaller cut.

Get at least a 7 foot blade. It should cover the tires when at the largest angle. A 6 foot brush mower. Fill the rear tires. I built a 1,300 ballast block also. A tooth bar is nice.
