Snow L3400 Snow Plowing Lights

I added some illumination to my ROPS for night time snow plowing.
By mounting the lights on some sheet metal, and attaching the whole assembly to the Rollover Protection via some home made u-bolts made from redi rod bent & covered by plastic tubing, I was able to avoid drilling any holes in the ROPS & thus compromising it's integrity.
Power was supplied via the auxiliary connector under the rear fender and switched by switches installed on the light bar, so no wiring needed to be added to the tractor.

Nice looking setup there. Are those 55W lights? I wouldn't have thought that the factory worklight circuit had enough oomph to power 4 55W lights.

Yeah, that would be my concern......... did you have to change a fuse or anything? I have that circuit hooked up to a work light on the back of my 3710. I would like to have lights high up on my tractor, but I am thinking of mounting them of the grill protector and tying them into the headlight circuit.

Yes, I did have to up the fuse by 5 amps. Also, although for the photo I have them all turned on, in practice I use only 1 pair at a time. One pair that lights up a wide area up close, and the other pair is aimed for driving down the road. I also have a pair of the Kubota work lights mounted on the ROPS facing the rear. This is the second year that I've had this setup, & no problems after putting in a bigger fuse.
